In the morning
of a day, a college boy Rihan was busy with his mobile phone. Then suddenly his
father came and began to rebuke him, “Oh, Rihan you have still no work. An idle
boy.” Rihan didn`t like the word ‘idle boy’. He said, “I am on Facebook and it
is not a ‘no work’. It`s a great deal with worldwide human connectivity.” “Is
it not a waste of time?” father said, “You have no relationship with your
neighborhood and going to connect with the world”. Rihan was upset about his
father`s words. He said loudly, “The whole world is doing this. Why don`t you
understand that?” At this, father said, “No no, your brain is so empty and
remember an empty is the devil`s workshop.” Now Rihan became excited. He told
his father, “Then my brain is waiting for the devil to come. Just wait and
watch what I am going to do.” “I am eagerly waiting for this”, father`s words
at last.
Rihan went to
college very late that day. He saw that all the students were in a rally. He
asked a friend about it. He said that they were in support with Anna Hazare in
‘India against corruption’. All the Indians supported him and so their college
became not an exception. Rihan liked this issue and said, “Oh nice, I will also
support him. Corruption should be vanished not only in India but also in the
whole world.”
Next day Rihan got
an e-mail from his elder brother Rigan. He was in London and doing research in
Science and Mathematics. He mailed that the European scientists from Royal
society of London did not recognize his proposal for the modification of Albert
Einstein`s theory of relativity. He proposed that as a particle named neutrino
can go faster than photon which emits light, so speed of light 3x108 m/s may not an extreme
speed according to Einstein. But scientist said that difference between the two
speeds was not sufficient to disprove the theory. In reply, Rigan said that if
neutrino could be accelerated or disintegrated to sub-neutrinos, then the speed
would have no bound and relativity could not be explained by special and
general theory. He also proposed that the modified theory would be ‘Universal
theory of Relativity’. But scientists didn`t listen to him anyway and gave him
only a ray of hope if at least one lacks people from the whole world accept his
proposal, then they will consider him for the experiment of neutrino. Rihan
read the mail thoroughly and replied, “I can`t understand what you are talking
about science but I really understand that you need vote. Why don’t you make
election or voting for it?” : “O brother it is not politics, it is science.
Think something scientific.” : “I get a link. The link is
politics-corruption-Anna Hazare and vote-like-facebook. Do you understand what
my brain links?” : “Is it not a devil`s brain! We will use such an ideal man
for our own purpose?” : “Not our own purpose. Indians like him and we also do
so. Let’s see my facebook page later.” Thereafter they cut e-mailing.
At night when
Rigan watched Rihan`s facebook page, he saw the message, ‘Hello world, this is
a message to all from a country which in the depth of corruption. A country
which is known for honesty, idealism and science. A country where great man
like Mahatma Gandhi was born and made independent it. And this is the country
where ideal persons like Anna Hazare and Rigan trying to establish their
proposal among people. As neutrino can overtake the speed of light, why we
can`t support Anna Hazare against corruption. If you like this, press ‘like’.”
The first ‘like’ was
sent by Rigan. After a week, across one million people from around the world
pressed ‘like’. It became one of the most popular messages on facebook. The
scientists of royal society had to consider Rigan`s proposal. In the meeting of
news reporters, when they asked him about the person behind the idea, he
immediately referred to his brother Rihan who was in India with his father
seeing him in TV. Father gladly appreciated Rihan, “So, you did it with devil`s
brain.” “Of course it`s all about my devil`s brain”, said Rihan with
laugh.
